Here's the beat-up one. I am going to do more like this one.....I really like the "run it till the wheels fall off" look of this car.

These were just painted with a Model Masters spray can. Color is Light Earth. I am going to weather the braces and supports, as well as all the wood.

Found some extra trucks and put the Fox Valley wheels in them. Trucks will be painted later.

Still need to find some lettering for these. I am going to go with the Holly Sugar markings.

Here's a picture I just took that really shows the difference in the top of the cars. A half dozen or so of these should add alot of realism to the Beet train. :)

Yea, definatly! That will be done during the weathering part of each car. Have to have those grimy oily wheels from those old bearings. :)

Jerry they look great. For Decals try the freight yard. Darren used to have a special run of them.

Yes, these are SP and Holly Sugar cars. ATSF is my favorite railroad, and will be well represented on my layout but right now, the SP line is 95% complete, so I have been doing alot of SP modeling lately.:)

This might be off topic but, since you said the SP.

If the Daylight ran threw there would you have it on your layout Jerry?
