    Photographs of N scale Unit Trains

    I thought I would start another for multiple unit lashup's, this does not have to be just diesel but can also be steam.

    To start the thread here is a pic just taken of my 4 SD40/2's MOPAC units that were custom painted by Mitch (MOPAC3092)

    Well Howdy all. I see that Sten was asking for green and gold, so I will start off with that. Then some Milwaukee power, Then of course SOO.
    Here is CNW C44-9W, 8659, and the SD-40-2's 6910, 6922.

    Here the CNW GP-40 5511 and SD-60 8034. 5511 is the unit that was my first detailing project.

    Some MILW consists up next. MILW GP-40's 2026,2034,2035 and GP-30 340.

    Here is MILW SD-40-2's 167 is in the Hiawatha paint job, and then there is 149,160.

    Next up we have MILW SW-1200 1643 and SOO SW-1200 324.

    SOO F-7A 214A, F-7B 2203C and GP-7 376 are seen here.

    I just wish I had some more SOO units.LOL Next up is SOO GP-35's 722, and 731. Also there is a Ex Milwaukee GP-40 2067 painted up in the " Bandit" scheme.

    And,,some more SOO power along with some CPR. SOO SD-40-2 6402, SOO GP-7 382 and then CP Rail SD-40-2 5524.

    With all the GP60 talk, here's a little GP60 action, Santa Fe style.
    Santa Fe GP60's 4030/4000, GP60B 325, and GP60M 115 speed a hot 199 out of CA., 39hrs from Chicago. :D

    Here we see Santa Fe GP60 4030, leading an SD45-2B and an F45, returning with a train load of brand new Ford Mustangs for CA commuters. :D

    The two GP60's were both numbered 4000, and I renumbered one to 4030, which was one I operated in 1997.

    Some great pics - love those GP60s Jerry! Here's to build on the SP action shown so far (and to make Jeff drool a little more. . . ) An SP eastbound manifest with a typical mixed bag of power crossing the Tuolomne River in the California Central Valley - ahead lies the Tehachapi range.
