No, if I use the flash it washes out the picture. My layout room has poor lighting right now and I have to use a portable halogen light or the pictures are way too dark. Also my digital camera is not the greatest. Works good for normal pictures, (people etc), but the macro shots aren't the greatest as you can see. Brian
Brian, I went to your Railimages album, quite a multi-level layout you've got under construction there! Jerry, great shots, you seem to have quite a collection of not-other-wise-available locomotives.
I guess this would not really be called a "lash up" because they were built to run in this configuration. However I still like it.
Sorry I'm late, getting the garage ready for my land grab that will allow for the payout extension. Here are a few of mine. Trio of Tunnels starting the climb. A GP30 leads GP38 and SD24. Pair of SD9's followed by a pair of TrainMasters, all dressed in black.
Yes, muahahahaha, I love this place. Now that SP has become a fallen flag, it has somehow become more represented in model releases and paint jobs.
First of Thanks Wyatt for those excellent shots of those excellent models of CNW/SOO/MILW Here are a few of my stuff taken today on Pauls (Colonel) layout SD-45 6568, SD-45 6535, SD-45 969 WC meets MP
Not the most impressive motive power line-up, but here’s a couple from my layout: A pair of ACL SD35’s: A pair of N&W SD7’s:
Paul, he GP35's were available in orange/silver from Atlas though Jerry's is a custom paint - easy enough to pick up a GP35, easier to paint! The GP20 was kitbashed with a GP18 high nose. Done three HH WP GP20's so far.... ; )
Lets go back in time a ways! Here's a couple shots of EMD103 - The EMD FT Demo set. Sorry for the somewhat bad photos. Tried to shoot, modify and post before leving for work tonight.
Sten, I like your tastes. Now if we can just get the ol' Col to get some red and white SOO power, then we would be in buisness. These are absolutley great shots. Keep up the awesome work guys, adios wyatt
Keith - great shots!!! MT made them for sure and those look like MT units. However, I've been told Intermountain did a stealth run of these for Yesteryear Models. I'm looking for one of those sets, by the way...
