My Mom grew up in this small town in Wisconsin. This is the C&NW depot in Ripon sometime in the late 1800s.
The last time I was in New Hampshire, Mt. Washington was kind if missing in a snow storm and they wouldn't let anybody go up more that a short distance.
Hi Darren; Thanks for the info I was wondering where it came from. Cheers, Lenny </font>[/QUOTE]Hey Lenny, any word on allowing me to post these AUX Tender shots on my website?

From the B&O Museum in 1999 before the snow storm that crush in the roof... [ March 14, 2006, 12:33 PM: Message edited by: Stourbridge Lion ]
Say, my friend, we have been to some of the same locations and stood in about the same spots, haven't we? This was taken in the summer of 1995. Some of that cheap Kirkland film--great color, eh?
Bookends. An experiment. I hope they will show up next to each other. Yahoo, the 261 at Minneapolis Junction.
Sweet Darren! What was that steaming up in the background? (I assume that they operate a steam excursion as well?) Man, I have to get out there some day! Russ
No excursion; but, they do have "Steam Ups" where they light up a few old timers now and then within the yard. Colorado Railroad Museum
Oh yea, it was D&RGW #346 that was on the Steam Up list that day [ March 14, 2006, 12:35 PM: Message edited by: Stourbridge Lion ]
Nice! CB&Q 5629 is at Colorado RR Museum? I need to go, and actually pay to see the museum, but the library ain't bad, either!
Here's a few pics I snapped while touring the UP steam shops this last weekend with my in-laws: UP 844 rebuild:
Jeremiah, who are your in-laws? Are they named Lee or Myli? Nice shots. Looks like 844 is being completely rebuilt as is 765. Two brand new steam engines to emerge this year, hopefully.
I doubt 844 will be under steam before '05... Lots of work yet to be done. My in-laws are from North Dakota... Bahr is the name. 50 miles from my previous home.
