cwwrman u got the lewiston one right well now that i am back out west and clicking along with no more toll roads. Here is a bridge tunnel set that has had it pic taken alot. Along the UP line.... Good luck
I have a pic of the tunnels you are talking about. They are farther apart and built by 2 different rr on WP and the other SP. The bridges are painted green. I am going 2 hold off a little on the answer until the Tunnel Junkie gets his chance. Another clue will be along soon

There is a special fusilage (3 Boeing 737+ BNSF business cars) train heading west across Montana, on MRL, right now. Memory is not quite certain where for photo location, but this appears to be it. So, Jim, you caught something very unique!!!
Ken, I-90 parallels the old NP/MRL for many miles, no telling where this is, but my guess is near Spring Gulch, MT.
Hemi- Oh yes. I do know the parallel situation. According to the time stamp when Jim posted, 10:01am here. According to info elsewhere, the train departed Livingston, west, at about 10:00am MST. So, somewhere east of there?
I drive truck too and was told to check this thread out, nice pics. those Tunnels on the last page, I just drove past them on my last trip to Rock Springs from Corinne, the bridges cross the Webar river bear Taggart utah, the line crosses the river 6 time and tunnels twice, on both lines in the canyon. This is the Weber Canyon, Echo Canyon is the canyon the runs east of Echo with I80. I don't want you to think I'm a know it all, its just happens to be the area I call home.
Uh Oh Jim, They are closing in on you. COL Glad to see this thread still alive. You truckers keep'r rolling along. Keep on posting those ever haunting pictures, that keep us guessing where you are. LOL
Now lets see if i can do this again... Here a depot for the Milwaukee line.. I think there are more Mule deer in this state than people. Good luck
Almost ready to say Great Falls, MT. Don't think it is though. Been several years since I was there on vacation with my folks.
They have me on a dedicated run now from Las vegas up through Idaho falls then to boise. After that back down to the inland impire and back to Idaho falls. Alot more time at home with family. Kinda slow out there on certian days espically on the 93 from Wells, Nv to Las Vegas.... Here is a couple of shots from way back this one is off of I-80. Kinda a SP theme on next 2 pics. Here is the next pic of a SSW GP with its other half off of I-5 in Northern CA.
