I've made some of the missing parts with spare parts from Ben's Dorothy Kit It's not only the missing parts, the Kit also don't fit together very well. I've build several GC Laser Buildings and also Rob's Trainstation, and those are great Kit's.
Jurg looks good. I'd probably had a smash attack before I got that far! I have to say those kits are more difficult to build and put together than others. It seems like the parts just don't fit well or they are too brittlle and break apart easy. I am a fan of Roberts kits for sure. I've done the salvage Co., the tool shed and loading ramp. All built to fit well.
I had a smash attack when I first set out to do the Nail Brother kit. Chris and I brainstormed the kit, and I had came up with what I though was a great office building for it. Well Chris let me get so far as even painting it, before he said... it looks like crap! Sometimes a kit don't please everyone.. And sometimes lots of effort had been put into that kit, so what becomes of such a kit? Nope! It was not disassembled, it was fodder for a Smash Attack! See the airborne debris?
GC Laser Live Stock Auction House I've started with the Auction House yesterday. Those tiny part kill me 25 tiny parts for the Stock loading Ramp
Still working on the Auction House... and here are allready some crouds waiting that the Auction begins Big Daddy and his wife walking down the ramp. The Dog is waiting for them.
Lots of parts there Jürg ! Hope the dog does get mixed up with the processing when the kit is done or, Big Daddy (or Mama) too! (BTW Jürg, yours was the 1,111 posting !!! ) .
The Carpenters where here as you can see but there still a lot of woodwork to do. Time to put some soil and other ground material on the floor. Next step is placing some animals inside because after the next wave of woodwork it will be very difficult.
Torsja, this will be the next ZMOD Module together with the GC Laser Icehouse and some Grainelevators that I've allready build.
Jurg how hard was it to build the grainelevators from GC Laser? I think they have always looked very fine!
Joe, the Grainelevators are not that difficult compared to this Auction House but the worstet thing I've ever build was the MPP Rabbit Hash.
Hi, I'm just in process assembling one of those grain elevators, the parts are very precise and the kit is nice detailed, only critism is about the assembly instruction; it's not the case that the instruction is unclear or wrong, but just written w/o assembly sketches. I think basically about our friends oversea with limited english knowledge. That might be a show stopper for them...
Hi Juerg, yes, but only sketches of the platines and the side views of the finished building, but nothing in between.
