The wedding went smoothly, the honeymoon was great till the return trip - nightmare.
There were about 38 guest including 3 children. Some folks signed both sides, some signed as couples, and some, (a few probably did not sign at all). The really bad ones are from the children but that's ok with me.
Just a few of the images, (there are 56):

Not only did she fly in from Chicago, give us a very nice cash gift but also, (she was staying with us), after we left on the honeymoon she stayed an extra day and well, cleaned house, bought a brand new bedding set which she bought and put on the bed and took care of Laura's grandson on top of it all. I wonder what would happen if she stayed a week.

From her sister, (and hostess of the wedding / reception and performed the ceremoney ):

So you are going to tease a story and then not tell it? What happened on the way home?

Ride from Boston to NYC was great!
    Time in NYC was GREAT!
    1. Friday we arrive at Penn Station 1.25 hours early - great!
    2. We find the Red Caps and the 'Handicap Assistance Area', (I'm legally blind).
    3. Train finally arrives 90 minutes late
    4. We board thanks to Red Cap and get a great seat
    5. Train finally leaves and I text her daughters we should be home by 7ish. Arrrg, later but acceptable.
    6. At 3:30 the train stops - shrug, we wait.
    7. At 4:00 the train begins backing into Penn station, yes, backing.
    8. We are told to 'de-board' and go to 'customer service
    9. CS tells us
    10. The bridge is stuck in the up position and we are < deleted>
    11. We will get a refund,
    12. No trains are running
    13. Go to the Port Authority and get a bus
    Arrrrrg!
Good news is we were prepared with food and drink. - sorta

Ya, never forget to NOT take AMTRAK.
The bus gives me greater flexibility and more reliable time scheduled.

Very sorry to hear the post script, but glad you're home as one family.
Would it be feasible to convert your layout from rail to bus? Maybe Greyte Dane instead of Grey & Grandure....nah, guess not.

Wasn't she at Pearl Harbor on December 7th? She was a cruiser, but I don't recall heavy or light?

As much as I love trains and riding them, it is not only cheaper, but faster, for me to drive from the Rocky Mountains to Puget Sound. Plus, when I get there, no rental. I already have my vehicle under me, so I also save a bunch of money there. And I can go at my own leisure, side tripping, taking pictures, etc, etc, and still beat the train trip duration easily. Kinda sad.

The worse part about it is I googled the issue. Guess what? This is a known issue.

Your SP red comes out as SF yellow.
You call the maker and 'Customer Service" admits that, "Yes, that happens now and then."
Sure enough, that bride, er, bridge, (what's a 'g' between friends), expands in the summer and contracts in the winter.
    Arrrrrg!

She was indeed. Originally a light cruiser, later reclassed a heavy. No engines and therefore no power during the attack. The desperation of the day is encapsulated in AA gun crews having to break the locks off ready boxes as the keys couldn't be located, and larger shells being hauled from the magazine with ropes as there was no power.
