You know...you got me thinking.. I could paint all the beds on all my trucks black and just say they all have 'Rhino bed liners' in them... https://www.ziebart.com/images/defa...nings_1-1.jpg?Status=Master&sfvrsn=7cc5f46e_2
I might see if I can cut a piece of the 2mm stuff I have and put it in one, although it might be too BIG? Or try to find a color piece of paper?
Pickup beds accumulate stuff! Boxes of tools and whatnot. Tarps, tires, garbage, empty brew bottles, etc. Around here they can have fencing tools, feeding stuff, (cows), bed tool boxes, just a lot of stuff! There're always the few with nothing in them, and with an empty rhino-lined show piece. But they are the exception. Now, I know George has creative juices flowing and I suppose we will see something.....
Seeings as that is a sheriffs truck (white truck) I am going to look for an over the bed tool box for it. I may 'rhino' that stark white bed though. The service truck.... I will find some 'stuff' you might find in the bed of one. . I have lots of trucks in Lucky Penny Yard that will need 'stuff' in the beds of them too. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. *** Well that was easy.... https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/miniature-gallery/anvil-single-tbjzs https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/miniature-gallery/traffic-cone-single https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/miniature-gallery/cooler-coleman-style-single https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/miniature-gallery/garage-detail-kit-15-pc-pack https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/miniature-gallery/wooden-crate-single Almost forgot the most important items... https://www.allscaleminiatures.com/...mary&utm_source=order-status&utm_content=name I will scrounge through my n scale junk box and see what else will work...
So far, so good! Rhino and other brands of spray-in bed-liner applications are typically also sprayed on the inside of the tailgate, side and front walls, and on the wheel wells.
Also, spray-in bed liners have a very rough finish (for grip, to help prevent cargo from sliding around.) Therefore a flat black paint would be recommended.
Here it is a little further along. Again, still a work in progress. I had a rhino liner in my first truck so know it covered the whole bed. Still some touch up on this one but getting closer. That is flat black paint and when it dries and gets some dull coat, it should look better. I duped some tools in the bed to get a better idea of how it's going. Didn't mean to highjack the thread George, just encouraging you to give it a shot
