This is the actual layout plan. Only the wye at Silver Creek is missing. I can run trains from Fiddletown through Salina. Here's a photo special train east of Salina on the way to Silver Creek: And a video. Wolfgang
Nice I used to do HOn3 but it was probably at least 25 years ago. Still have my MDC 2-8-0 though. Is that one of those Blackstone locos?....Mike
Yes, this K-27 is my first Blackstone. I've ordered a C-19 too. This engine has got a light weathering: And in factory delivery . Wolfgang
I always liked the green boiler K27s . Many many years ago a friend of mine had a large HOn3 layout. It appeared in Model railroader at least once. His name was Harry "Doc " Sage in Columbus Ohio. I ran trains on this layout many times. you might still be able to find a copy of the mag, although you will have to search out which one it was in......Mike
Wolfgang: That is terrific modeling!! You have inspired me. (Though I don't believe my skills are equal to what you have displayed).
With the finished Fiddletown ... ... there was a train ride over Silver Valley RR. The full report is here, with much more pictures. Wolfgang
Wunderbar! What you have packed into thses modules is simply extraordinary work. If this isn't a prize winner, I don't know what else it could be.... Boxcab E50
Thank you, Ken. You wanted a complete line fan trip, this is the first step. More will follow. A video ? ! But at first I'm busy preparing my "Naumburg" for the next weekend in Krefeld, another FREMO meeting, from Friday until Monday. Wolfgang
Extra 462 east Now I've managed to install classification signals, white flags. And here you're, Extra 462 east! Wolfgang
Wolfgang -- I love your stuff. If I could ask... What material do you use for your ballast and gravel roads? The color looks perfect.
