I'll second this one too. MTL now have experience with small diesels in their Z scale line and none of the main N scale diesel manufacturers seem interested in Alco switchers for some reason.

On the Nn3 front, how about the Z gauge track done with Nn3 ties? I've got some nice looking Japanese Z gauge track that joins up with the MT track but it's a bit hard to get and they don't make turnouts.

How about Z scale couplers in a 1015 box?

Yes, I also would like Alco S-switchers.

And a B&O caboose. Would be nice behind the FVM wagon top boxcars!

    Joe,
Thanks for the heavyweight passenger cars that have been released. They are just perfect!
    Wish list:
USRA style NE wood caboose. (So many eastern roads had these).
ALCO S1, S2, S4 switchers that actually run would be fantastic.

For the love of God please produce Comett II/Horizon passenger cars! We need modern single level commuter cars!

    I am also interested in:
PD3000 and PD5000 pressure aided hoppers (especially the Wonderbread PD5000)
CSX and NS 50' Waffle cars boxcars
    NS style rebuild TOFC
    PS tall coal/scrap gon
    60's-70's era 53' gon
    19k gallon corn syrup cars
    13k gallon acid cars
trasnfer caboose with and w/o bay windows
Trinity plastics hopper (probably a long shot due to their snore worthy paint schemes)
Decent ACF 5250 4 bay hopper (Bachmann, Model Power, and Atlas versions are old and sucky)
FGE 57' refer (these do not have ribbed sides, and were also repainted to BNFE, BNSF, and rebuilt to UP's fleet. All other manufacturers have made the ribbed side version only.)
Flexi-flo PD cars (lots of unique paint schemes, quirky prototype)
53' sheet-post dry van trailer. (these are still more popular than plate-wall/duraplate versions and no one has done them in N yet)

If we're doing this, I'd also like Z scale couplers in a 1023 box.

I also like the idea of the Alco S1, S2, S4 locomotives.

    Thanks for asking, Joe!

A truck mounted coupler with the correct size coupler box ! :tb-nerd:

Right now when a modeler who wants body mounted couplers cuts em off the truck...the removed coupler box is either:

    (A) To wide

    (B) To thick

    (C) To long

    (D) All of the above !

Causing problems with the wheels hitting the reused coupler box in a body mounted position ! :tb-wacky:

Making the truck mounted coupler box the size of...say a 1015...would halfarsed satisfy both the truck and the body mount guys. JMO.

Yea...yea...I know..."just body mount everything" ! Not so fast ! There are still some modelers and rolling stock that benifit from a truck mounted coupler !

Just make the truck mounted coupler box smaller...please :tb-smile:

ANYTHING MODERN INTERMODAL :mcute: I would love to start adding MTL products to my roster but unfortunately MTL doesn't offer much for the modern N scaler...

Us younger folks modeling the present must be a dying bread.. :tb-wink:

    Spine cars
    More TOFC's
53' THRALLs, 53' THRALLS oh and 53' THRALLS. Did I mentioned 53' Thralls?

Anything from here would be awesome as well: https://www.trinityrail.com/

That Hogshead car is really different. Do you know how many Southern made?

While I am not a fan of the cargo, the car is pretty cool and could go for several of them.

Playing to MTL's strengths, I'd love to have more trucks available, especially passenger trucks. Nystrom trucks come to mind.
