Thanks for the information! I was reluctant to peak under the cover. I wish that I had an answer for you. This was the first time that I have seen this being done in my travels. I would guess that it occurs often in remote areas between maintenance facilities. Anyone else have a better answer? Ben
Mitchell, SD Our next stop brought us to Mitchell, SD. Here we found the former Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul depot that was renovated into a pub and grill. You can find a brief history here. Ben
Pioneer Auto Show Museum - Murdo, SD Traveling west we stopped at the Pioneer Auto Show Museum. This depot was relocated to the museum from Draper, SD. Ben
1880 Town - Murdo, SD Our next stop was really close. Here are some pictures of 1880 Town. We had just ate lunch and as luck would have it they have a train converted into a 50's train diner. I wish that I had waited a little longer to eat. Oh well... Ben
