If it's time for a vote from the great state of DL&W, Count me as voting! Either DL&W, Lackawanna, or Delaware Lackawanna and Western would work, I would like any of these passenger cars.
If we can still make requests.... Take the disconnect log cars. Place an ore hopper on top. Make it look like these: http://www.carsoncarshops.com/gallery/albums/userpics/VC_Engine_Facilities.JPG http://www.carsoncarshops.com/gallery/albums/uploads/trainz_screenshots/bridges/ore_car_1.jpg
Oh, this looks like a fun thread... Dont know if anyone has said this yet but... Union Pacific Historic Fleet!!!!!! COMPLETE with AUXILIARY WATER TENDER!!!!!!!! thanks. -Mark (unless we can get Kato to re-produce theirs) ;-)
Saw this cool looking car in the Trains Magazine. If MTL did this it would have to be like $35.00:tb-sad: But it would also make a cool add-on to a train. Brian
Great news about the heavyweights, even better if they will be available painted with no lettering (maroon for me thanks).
I'd like to see some more trailer variety - as in corrugated side trailers, open top trailers, flatbed trailers etc., all these would go nicely with the 89' flats you'll be doing.
Amen! No matter how many they produce, they will sell out! Maybe, just maybe, they break new ground and do a 6-pack of these, or two three-packs with different numbers... C'mon Joe, say it IS so!!
Envirocon is another Washington company ... the trash containers would make an interesting load ... I am sure that MTL could pull it off without too much trouble
This may not be exactly a new car but a good use of existing tooling: Or Or I believe the 103 body would work for at least one of these cars. I see these waffle side cars around me every day. The only N scale waffle side boxes that I know of are Roundhouse cars that haven't been produced in years and the MTL 103 body and neither have been done in CSX that I have found. Another waffle that is common around here is Southern. Even a runner pack would be nice, the train that these shot were taken from had six in a row at the end of a local. PS. Sorry about the picture quality but these are captures from a video.
Any chance for an old-fashioned 36' flat car? From what I understand, these were the work horses of early railroading. And talk of simple tooling!!
I still want to see a modern truck tractor, anykind. KW, PB, Volvo what do we N scalers have to do to get one. I was at the lhs Friday and there is a seemingly endless selection in HO. I would also like to see the 86' boxcar and a modern 89' flat. Jeff
