Ok guys let me have it. If you could have one product done what would it be? Rolling Stock,Locomotive,Structure,Accessories? We'll let this poll run about a week and then I'll forward the results to their proper places. It may not help but it can't hurt.
Well, here it goes... Seeing I'm a SF, BN, BNSF, and Amtrak Fan, we need the following: LOCOS: SD70MAC, SD75I, F40PH, F59PHI, All Genesi', Pepsi Cans, GP38/38-2, GP50, GP60/60M, GP60B, B39-7, B/BW40-8(Freight Pepsi Cans), F/FP45, SDP40F(Amtrak and SF freight converstion models), SD45-2/2B, and MORE SD40-2's. Did I leave anything out? Rolling Stock: Articulated Auto Racks, RoadRailers, 60 ft. AmBoxes, Horizion Fleet Cars, Santa Fe Hi-Levels, Talgo's, and California Cars. I think that's it... ------------------ MAX
Well,let'see now. 1 GP-38/-2s 2 GP-60/Ms 3 Dash 8-40s/Ws 4 F/FP-45s 5 GP-15s 6 Anything modern AMTRAK 7 larger industrial buildings (ya know something actually big enough to support rail service 8 More modern vehicles ------------------ Catt!
I just realised, you asked for one, just one thing if we could have it. I guess that one thing would be......More modern SF, BN, BNSF, and Amtrak equipment in N-Scale. Does that narrow it down any Danimal? ------------------ MAX-RAILROADER
How about older units: H24-66 and (RTR) C424/425s. With the exception of the JnJ conversion shells, there are no others yet available.
How about a really good running Pacific class locomotive, with a DCC plug in the tender. ------------------ The NP & UP N-Scale Railroad
Well, lets see 1) Dash 8 40CM 2) SD90MAC-HII 3) SD70M 4) CRS20 5) H1e Hudson 6) RDCs (good quality!) 7) F40PH-2 8) B40-8 9) 2-8-0 10) GMD1u Mostly canadian stuff as you can see, but I am willing to bet almost none ever gets produced. ------------------ //BC Rail King
BC Rail King, Danimal asked for ONE favourite! Bet you listed ten, as you don't expect any of them Wouldn't mind a B40-8 myself though!
Being a Southern Railway fan, my choice sould be a GP-38-2 High Hood of course! If I got a second choice it'd have to be a GP-60. Look Ahead, Look South
I had on my wish list, for the past three years, a N-scale model of the PRR 'T-1'. My wishes are coming true! Key Imports Inc. announced the N-scale T-1, in brass for delivery in 2000. Of course I have my order in. It will make my year, if I get it. I have their PRR M1a mountain and it's great. My PRR models are filling in from class A -Z, 48 N-scale models so far. Several have been scratch built or modified from other models. My next wish list item will be the Baldwin BP60a 'centipedes'. Not holding my breath on this one! Must be a tough one to model Eddie
Sorry guys, I have found that it's pretty hard for me to choose one product also. I managed to get it down to two models I'd really like to have. The gp60m and gp60b and as I'm sure you are aware the chances of these getting done are about as likely as aliens kidnapping Maxwell!
I look foward to Kato's SD90MAC. I hope it runs better than my $400 OMI brass unit. The OMI unit looks good but run like a high grade piece of steer manure! ------------------ Keep on Track'N Harold Riley www.phcomputing.com
Modern Amtrak is the greatest need I see. Wouldn't it be nice to see 2 or 3 genisis units (amd-103) pulling a superliner on your layout? The SD-70MAC, GP-60M, and other modern locos are also needed. How about some of the Automotive series walthers created for HO. The auto rack loaders were cool along with some of the factories. I wish N scale would have a manufactuer like Athearn, think of all the options we would have then. All we can do is keep trying. Bryan ------------------
Ahhh, Danimal. I HAVE BEEN TAKEN UP! Of couse, you being from the great UFO state of Nebraska, you would't know anything about that. I GOT IT! We need some N-scale crop circles and mutilated cows for Danimals layout! HA HA HA! ------------------ MAX-RAILROADER
