Concor Cracker Jack 'grain' boxcar: $266 (plus $7 shipping) http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRACKERJACK...035180?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item338396e02c
I once gave my then-girlfriend a box of Cracker Jacks and she found a prize inside- a real diamond ring. Wonder if this Cracker Jacks boxcar has a surprise inside...
2 locomotives that I can't easily identify and a 'Hi Speed' loco, some junk cars (I think there's 14 complete cars but I can't tell for sure) and an oval of Bachmann track...far away out of focus pictures and almost nothing in the description: $200 http://www.ebay.com/itm/model-train...167679?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3cd2a68aff
It might just be me, but I'm beginning to see the same overpriced and/or junky items just being listed over and over again. How much longer before there's nothing new being listed and the only things there are stuff that is so overpriced it hasn't sold...?
A Deluxe 2 bay covered hopper for $50: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GHQ-deluxe-...Hopper-RARE-/140953028131?hash=item20d1748623
A 'rare' Model Power Dutch Masters reefer (listed as a plug door boxcar): $30...really http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUTCH-MASTE...206313?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2ec22cb869
Not just you. Same old dirty stuff in not very good condition at an above premium price. Same thing I have been seeing at the shows for the last ten years except the price went up since I last saw it.
I've forgotten about the shows with the same old dirty overpriced junk. I guess it was just a matter of time for it to get to EBay
Now, why would I want to buy this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/KATO-Santa-Fe-Super-Chief-Starter-Set-/141011991025?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item20d4f839f1#ht_45wt_1328 I don't think so... http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LIF...el_RR_Trains&hash=item3ccc669544#ht_64wt_1091 Sure there are quite a few cars, but considering the majority are missing trucks and couplers, not as good as it would seem... http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-FRE...l_RR_Trains&hash=item4ac6708d3f#ht_299wt_1328
Someone did. I guess for the track and transformer...I remember just after the XBox came out someone selling an XBox BOX (nothing but the box). Price was several hundred dollars. In that case I don't think they read the description...

The things that make you go, "Hmmmmmm." I had an early GN boxcar that didn't have Rocky on one side. That boxcar fetched $75 (via bidding) and I was astounded to get that much. Maybe I would have gotten more if I hadn't let the factory air out.
I guess this is where my LHS is looking when she sets her prices! Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
