If your going to take the time to repaint, why not use primer to hide the "Conrail blue". I agree that the weathering is used to hide the "old hue".

...and I wouldn't call that 'professionally weathered'. Looks like someone with a dirty paint brush just smeared paint all over the locomotive.

If it sells then he is getting paid for the weathering so that makes him a 'professional'. NOT!

I had thought of making a Southern Pacific SD80MAC Fantasy unit cause hey Why not, SP at the time was getting back into the Horsepower race and what better than one of these 5000hp bruisers. After all they did have AC6000s on order.
That being said, I would have done a much better job painting it. For one the Bloody nose decals are in the wrong place.

I don't get it. Only Local Pickup? He's not even willing to get the buyer to pay for shipping?

Oh well. Looks like I'm driving 2580 miles. On second thought…:p

"Free local pick-up?" Sure glad he's not going to charge the buyer for driving the seller's location to pick up the locomotive they purchased from him. What a nice guy! At least gas prices are down right now so if your gonna drive that far, now's the time.
