With a lot of help from mother nature, the sky/background really makes the image, taken this past Sunday the 13th at North Las Vegas Nevada. In this image, they (the clouds) were conspiring against me! Putting my subject in the shadows. ...but still kind of a neat shot.

I have a couple of those! Cumbres & Toltec #484 in Osier, CO: Cumbres & Toltex #487 in Osier: Austin Area Terminal Railroad #189 in Bertram, Texas: UP Caliente Depot, Caliente, NV:
Nicely done guys. If I get a chance I will scan some of my Silverton and Chama stuff done on Black and White, lots of clouds... John
To Moffat enthusiasts, the three bedrock domes in the background instantly identify this location as near Tunnel 30, the last before the Moffat Tunnel: Of course, the thick overcast skies, eh?!
Great shots guys. Heres a fog shot of SP 6853, with the Tehachapi work train, at Woodford. SP 8277 at Mojave. Thom

Sure is...one of those MK rebuilds of a few yrs back, still in SP paint and numbers. The local crews seem to really love them since they have new/newer A/C units which is really necessary here in the scorching desert.
