When you're done with the project, you should blow on a conch shell to announce your success to the neighborhood. I see that the Lehigh Canal Museum has a conch shell horn on display, one of the last used on the canal.
Candy, This scene is phenomenal. While the entire layout is a very rich landscape, this will be the scene that anchors the whole thing. Outstanding!
It seems Candy has been quietly building an entire layout, but only focusing efforts on a bowling alley and canal scene. You holding out on us?
I'm speechless... mostly because my lower jaw is on the floor somewhere, flopping around senselessly. Not only is that such incredible modelling, the photo itself is so exquisitely composed! It's like I'm looking out of an upstairs window at the scene.
Thank you all. I see a lot of great modeling on this forum. That's why I hang around. I'm always trying to outdo myself. I guess a psychologist could explain it but it's just the way I am. My layout is small. I can't build big. It would overwhelm me. So, I deal in the details and realism and work in small areas at a time. Thank you all once more
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't see "small" when I look at the scenes in these pictures. I can get lost in all the details, and the stories to which they allude. While the space may be limited, the impact certainly is not!
