Jim, mostly from Diecast Direct (http://www.diecastdirect.com/?c=True). Tough to find 1/48, most of mine are 1/43.
Larry, Thank you for the link. I forgot about them. Do you use 1:43 cars? If so do you put them in the back or hide them a bit? Jim
Yes, switch stands are operational. I'm using Caboose Ind 214 HO scale - they look about right size for O scale. Most of the vehicles are 1:43 and those are in the foreground. I have some 1:50 and those are toward the back.
Starting work on the next piece of layout, around the corner. A small copper mine north of Mohawk. Finished the cut between Mohawk and Phoenix. Probably could use some more dead fall
Beautiful detail. The ROW looks like it belongs on a shoestring-budget shortline, not a class 1 RR. Lots of weeds, minimal/no ballast, wide tie spacing, etc, etc... Wow!
I just uploaded another video. Tough to run the train and run the camera at the same time.
Wow. Nice. The lush greenery. Every photo or video, I am seeing neat details in the background. Ideas and inspirations a-plenty.
