Helge, I don't understand the technicalities, but I have never had any problem posting pictures on TrainBoard ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery
Here is a picture from Jim Reising's website. Take a look guys the layout looks great You can visit his site at http://hometown.aol.com/jereising/index.htm ------------------ http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000
I recognise those things the trailers are riding on Jim told me his layout is based on Tehachapi, and this picture certainly portrays that. The layout is on three levels, the middle level being the town! Wish I could have space for lots of buildings, but I need all mine for trackage! ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery
Prompted by the interest shown here, Jim has added a full description of his layout on his website (see link above). He said he needed something to do on a wet day (He actually called it Brit. weather ) ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery
Jim has now added track plans to his model railroad site http://hometown.aol.com/jereising/index.htm ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery
Earlier I tried to issue a picture from Tripod, but it was not successfully. I have not yet get a good explanation from Tripod. Now I have stored pictures on another server and it seems to work as it is supposed to do. Here is the bus office at Sandy River, and behind the silhouette of the F7 there is the bar "The House". --------- Helge
What a wonderful photo! I have no idea how to take pictures like that! Will have to frequent the photography forum, and pick up some tips ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery Alan's European Gallery Alan's British Steam Gallery

I just picked this photo, and was not aware of it´s value when it comes to "How to do". I will add some details in the Photography forum under "The first question". --------- Helge SR&WF
Nice photo, Helge. It's difficult to get 'mood' lighting working in scale. Thanks for adding the methods used in the Photography Forum. Gary.
Great picture Helge, good to see you were finally able to post a picture for this forum ------------------ http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000
It seems that my night photo is appreciated, so I add two more to enjoy. It is the Sandy River station and yard areas looking West and East. -------- Helge
I have seen these great pictures at your web site Helge. Well done. You say you used a different server. Will you share which one that is with us. I know Xoom won't allow trainboard to pick up pictures. ------------------ Robin Maberly and Tayside
I know that Tripod and Xoom dont allow other servers to fetch images from their databases, so I tried to find any server that will work. I tried a swedish server (passagen.se) that is cooperating with the swedish telecom Telia. It works fine. In the first place I was thinking about create a "mirrored" site of my SR&WF on that server, but so far I only made a preliminary "start page". Mainly I stored some pictures so that I was able to issue pictures on TrainBoard. I believe that there will be many "free" servers out there. ---------- Helge
Found this picture from "The J " site a site worth visiting. You can visit the site at http://eje.railfan.net/ The site belongs to David D a relatively new member of trainboard The picture is of the j's bicentennial unit ------------------ http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000 [This message has been edited by Colonel (edited 21 August 2000).]
Here is a picture from Brads N scale station site The crossing at Carson Jct. is controlled by this signal tower. The tower is an American Model Builder's laser cut wood kit. I built this kit stock, but added a tower operator, office furniture, and a row of Armstrong interlocking levers inside. The roof is removable to view the interior details. These laser cut wood kits are much easier than they look and very rewarding. If you have been considering one, go for it! you can visit Brads site at http://www.nscalestation.com/index.htm ------------------ Paul Cassar-# Member number 50 ICQ 61198217 http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000
Thanks for the plug Colonel. That model was done by John DePauw... A member of my e-mail list. He has a large double deck EJ&E HO layout in Michigan. Dave D. Thought I'd share with you a picture from Roger Hensley ECI Railroad HO layout East Yards in 1999 with a lineup of cars and ECI equipment. A recreation of the inauguration of the ECI passenger run in 1993 led by the rebuilt F3A 1301. The F3A has now been joined by a permanently mated F3B. This not only permits the passenger run to be made in style, but allows for increased hauling capacity when the Fs are pressed into freight service. Note the Baggage car 2501 immediately following the engines. Although this picture is not good, the background of ECI 2501 makes an interesting story.
