Rick , also waiting on mine . You may have to do a tax form for 2020 . this is a copy from a Govt site ....
Each week we’re sending the third payments to eligible individuals as we continue to process tax returns. Payments are sent by direct deposit or mail as a check or debit card.

The IRS is working with federal agencies to get updated information for recipients to ensure we are sending automatic payments to as many people as possible. More information about when these payments will be made is provided in the news release issued on March 30, 2021.

Individuals on Social Security are supposed to automatically get the payments without having to do anything. We did for the first two payments.

Unless, of course, they sneakily changed something. But, the administration is blaming Social Security and who knows, maybe it's their fault.

Saturday and still no stimulus check. Well, anyway it is what it is.

I'm on disability as well. On the tax forms I get. There are specified reasons as in outside income other then SSI, I'm required to report. Being on disability, in the first place, I'm not allowed to work. If none of those options apply then I don't have to send it in. They'd rather I not send it in.

I would suspect that if they thought something was amiss I would have already heard from them.

My life story goes like this. I'm the last one told and the first one chewed. Sure seems that way.

Wait, wait and wait some more.

At least my regular SSI check hit the bank.

    Later all.

Sorry to read about your misfortunes. I've never lost a pet, only a 2 1/2 year old daughter.
I got my first two checks two months after they started. I got the last one in one week, direct deposit. But then this year I didn't file income taxes. Federal or state. I haven't payed taxes in 10 years.

    My Bad!!:(:(

As to my bad. I need to purchase some suit case connectors. Also, a on the wall bracket for a flat screen TV. So tired of waiting...thus the grumbling.:cry:

Suitcase connectors for wire. If you have any ideas on what you like best, let me know.

Now back to the trains. A look back at the H&P before it pulled up track and moved to Idaho Country.

Looks like the Rio Grande and Southern Pacific passenger trains have been diverted to the H&P Railroad. Taken at the future location of the Ashfork Train Station, Ashfork Junction. Sorry no soda fountains or soda machines available quite yet.

Looks like Southern Pacific Days at Ashfork Junction.
Ashfork Junction Rio Grand and SP Sunset Diverted to HP Rail.jpg

Southern Pacific had some 4-8-4's the SP Rails called Santa Fe Types. This Bachmann unit resembles those. I have a video of something awfly close to this, a Cotton Belt left over moved to the bay area and seen in the San Joaquin Valley. Still some work needed in the detailing department. Here it is pulling a passenger train through the Coal District.:whistle:

Below: Ashfork Junction is beginning to form up. Greg M. showed up with some real estate and asked me where to place it. Looked good to us for now.

Notice the lettering B2 in the picture. All my blocks are marked this way. It will be easy to mark the wires with the same ID.

Lastly, for this post. Ashfork Yard. I had fun setting out equipment just to see how impressive I could make the scene. Looks like George M's wreck crane got caught and shot in the yard.(y)

Just a reminder as to what this is all about.

    Catch you all later.

Moose, thank-you for your suggestion. I started looking into finding them shortly after I read your input.

I have others but they never got out of the box. Model Power put out some Mikado's without the dreaded traction tires. I bought up four of them. They are good pullers and if you know my idiosyncrasies... that's what makes me happy. Union Pacific, Rio Grande, Southern Pacific and of course Santa Fe.(y)(y)(y)

Thanks, I will look into that as I have some track switches that are two wire and these would work nicely.

The suitcase connectors are ordered. Now to see if they get here any faster then the Chinese Disease Check.
Oh by the way, not yet. But then it isn't Wednesday yet. Sigh!

Had a great Easter. My neighbors put out Easter eggs for the kids. One of them it was his first time and he caught on real quick when he found out there was candy inside. Go figure. Fun, fun, and more fun. Barbecue wasn't bad either. (y) :D:D

    Later.

For the first one, it never came. So, I had to go to the IRS web site and input my information. Even though the Gvmt already has it all for tax purposes and SS.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

It isn't likely you could improve on the link. It works as is.

    Thanks for the link.

    Let me try something here.

    Suitcase Connectors

I typed that in and then went back and clicked on your link provided. Once at that site, I copied the link. Came back and highlighted Suitcase Connectors. Clicked on Link, pasted the link and wallah it works.

Still in the hurry up and wait mode. Wait, slow down not so fast, now hurry up and wait some more. I keep thinking I'm back standing in line at a Disneyland Adventure ride. The Adventure was the people you could meet and grumble with. One family got smart and put two people in line to hold their place. Two because one would have to leave to find the others. Sometimes that worked and sometimes it didn't.

Then I found out that while I was getting around in one of their rented carts I could only board the Train at one station stop and I'd have to get off at the same stop. The only real reason I went with my family to Disneyland. To See The Trains!! So much for riding the train from the Mississippi influence over to Tomorrow Land. Learned that Walt's ashes ride around in his favorite passenger car tied on at end of train. Only a Mortician would know to ask. You know how that goes.;)

I did run into a Disney Conductor, I had met before. He took the time to drive up to Big Bear Country to visit my layout. Grant you it's not very pretty to look at. George, has that over me at this point as do some of the rest of you. Still, he drove out to see it, called for an appointment and we had a great visit. I recognized him and he me and we couldn't talk for very long as he had a train schedule to meet. It was good to see him again. This time I got to ride his train. Very Nice!!:D:rolleyes:

Then last night I, not my cat's, broke my mouse for the computer. Aiiyiiyii !!! Dumb Ass, I thought, of myself. I patched it back together and got it to work again. This morning I got back on E-pay. Two more are on the way but now I'm out of funds to do anything else. Sigh!!:confused:

Let's see if I can find anymore trains from the past to show you.:)

How about this? "Car's to go", past tense. Seems that once it gets out your a Toy Train guy, stuff comes at you, from out of the woodwork. I was given a stack of older train stuff. Most of which was going to take more time then I wanted to give it to bring it up to standard. So, I did what any good guy would do and gave them away. I don't know what George did with them. He may have offed them but that's the whole idea. Sooner or later they will end up in the right hands and they, he or she, will make good use of them.

    Cars To Go 001.jpg

I had duplicates already running around my layout or they were oversized Bachmann. I was in a frame of mind at the time of getting rid of anything Bachmann. Majorly dissed off at them. Plus anything with Rapido Couplers was disappearing FAST off my layout. I didn't want to mess with them anymore.:mad::mad:

    Cars To Go 004.jpg

Don't get to excited. These are not leaverites. These are goners.
I do wish I had hung onto the Santa Fe Reefers and Red Box Cars. Upside I was able to replace them all with either InterMountain or Micro-Trains products. I'm so happy!!:):)
    Cars To Go 006.jpg

I couldn't stand those gawdy, bright and shiny all metal wheels. If they had been colored/painted (I wasn't about to take the time) with only the tire appearing to be shiny I might have hung onto them. Nope. Out of here. And Good-Bye.:censored::mad:

I'm not into shorty passenger cars unless there was a prototype. May I point to? The Kato, Southern Pacific, Coast Daylight has shorter cars but they are prototypically correct. Why? Because of the tight curves on SP's coast route they opted for shorter cars in articulated sets. Oh they look nice.:rolleyes:

Amtrak isn't allowed to run on my layout. No way that's going to happen.:eek:

    Well, that's it for now.

    More later!:cool::cool:

I still have the ones you sent me. Most are 'yard fillers'. Some have been converted to useful cars on the rails. The one passenger car is now a diner in 'Jeans Valley'. A few boxcars are behind the warehouse in 'Georgetown'. A few are set behind the locomotive coming in on the interchange track under the bridge at 'Georgetown'. The small 2 bay hoppers sit on the track at the silos in 'Stevens Concrete'. A few boxcars are set on the ground in variuos locations....like 'Georges Scrap Yard' and even by the 'Engine Shop' ....being used as storage buildings.

The passenger train cars are now the CFO's Excursion train and sit at the passenger terminal in 'Jeans Valley'.

They all came in handy and I appreciate that you sent them all to me my friend...(y)
