Jeff - That is one awesome picture. The devil's in the details, and you nailed it. The class lights, the caboose details, the lumber load straps & tie-downs, the ballast work. Wow - great work!!
I almost made it running up the hill, but I'm not so young any more! Two unpatched tunnel motors, and I missed it! Tony Burzio San Diego, CA
Tony - cool shot ! Must be at the San Diego MRR Museum, eh? Where exactly on the layout is it - over by the Goat Canyon trestle?
One the way back from a good day of train watching, I skidded to a halt at a San Timeteo Canyon crossing to check out a little bit more SP action Tony Burzio San Diego, CA

The quartz halogens are too bright, since the aisle is only 3' wide. Just used a hand held work light instead. The new Canon Digital Rebel XP has A-DEP mode, automatic depth of field. So far, it seems to work pretty good, although some times the focus is lost depending on where the focus points pick the background. I may get a stronger lens once I figure out which of the hundred possible lenses would add to depth of field! The shutter clicked and held open for thirty seconds on each shot because the Museum lighting is very red-shifted. Tony Burzio San Diego, CA
