I shot this from inside a Dash 9. Best nose-on shot I have ever taken so far. [img]
It is a HP S20xi Photosmart slide scanner. It was about $440 at www.buy.com.
Here's a re-scan from a negative of a GP38-2 rebuild. I have a new slide scanner that does one heckuva job on negatives. [img]
The "history" is that EMD and NS agreed to work together to test the F59PHI in high-speed intermodal service. With a lowered gearing ratio...
I posted two model photos of my F59I and SD70M to the HO forum: HO Model Forum Post (I would have put them here but thought I would get in...
My "F59I" is now 100% completed and can be seen here with its lovely red marker lights lluminated and is posing with my nearly completed Genesis...

Thanks for the plug, Harold! I have roughly 3,000 NS locomotive photos currently online. I have photos of all but one of the SD80MACs and am now...

The Colonel is correct, it is a direct reflection of the sun. Ironically, the train SHOULD have been there at least an hour earlier for better...
Well, the colors in northern Kentucky are below average at best so far. Some trees have turned (many have lost their leaves) while other trees...
