It's not often you see this kind of power leading a Triple Crown train! Enjoy.

Nice to see a pair of high hood units on a high priority RoadRailer train!

Since I never see the train, what is the usual power for the train? I think I caught it once going through Salisbury (NC) and it was powered by a single GP50.

As with all other NS trains, the lead unit is usually a Dash 9. :( Typical trailing power for some reason is often a GP38.

Nice shot Jeff! I have never seen a SD40-2 leading on a roadrailer. However, I have seen lots of high hood power on them. I haven't seen many being led by Dash 9's. Most that I see here in Atlanta these days are usually being pulled by SD70's. The most unusual consist I have ever seen on a roadrailer train consisted of two Helm lease units. Both were GP's. One was in the Helm Blue and Maroon and the other was still in Guilford paint.
