Could this the break through many have desired? Items without factory air having value more than a sealed box version?
I believe that this may be the first in the "Graffiti Collectors Series"... note the "GCS" on the side of the car in the second photo. $85 with no box is probably a bit optimistic, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does sell.
Right or wrong, a boxless item to me seems as close to being used as is possible. So when I see something such as this, I always have that perception...
And what about this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Mod...006?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item540ed1564e
AAck!! I had that book at one time. If it sells for more than .001% of asking price Ill be ticked off I didn't keep my copy. Ha ha!!!!
I have that car, WITHOUT the graffiti. It is a Round House kit and it came in a box. Of course the factory air was released to assemble it. $85.00 with graffiti, how much without the crap? Any offers? Sorry NOT for sale. Gary
Just to repost the link... http://www.ebay.com/itm/321526144622?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT It is a Micro-Trains car... special run, first one for Graffiti Collector Series. $85 is actually down quite a bit from the "high auction value" (which I don't recall exactly, though it was in the low hundreds) but that price would have been with a box.
No, it's a GCS - Graffiti Collectors Series - issue. The name of the person who commissioned this Special Run, and 14 more after that, is escaping my small brain at the moment. After GCS he also did a few eight-packs of MTL special run cars. By the way, the "Kings" car is priced by a brick and click store "north of the border" for $200. However, they don't have any to sell.
Eeeewwww... Why won't my trains run? Maybe because they're COVERED in cat hair...How could you possibly have N scale trains with this mess? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATLAS-ALCO-CN-SHELL-/251650152006?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3a97849646
Ugh. I wonder how many bidders would be turned off, of they looked closely enough? At least it's just a shell, which can easily be cleaned up.
Just a follow up, I had these on watch after someone placed a bid on them. Now that they ended, I seen there were no bids placed? Maybe the buyer read about the defect here or or took a closer look?
"This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing." This would cancel any bids.
