    I also have a very old tank car - feels like metal - that is also lettered for Roller Freight.

    I had one like that back in October 1974, same road number but some details differ:

    I found it nice but it did a lot to satisfy Dad's ATSF addiction...:LOL:

    It is a pressure differential covered hopper for cement. The GN did not own any they were all built for the NYC although some ended up with private owners after some time.
