After this car, I will have to dig into my box of cars to find some more to post. A little off focus.
Southern Pacific Highboy Boxcar. A little off focus. The plastic wheels on this car are deteriorating.
Engine wise now it's mainly the Canadian National. I have seen some really run down GP40s from Kentucky lately. Earlier there was Great Northern. There is a large variation on cars. The most are medium sized black tankers from Canada in what must be 4 mile lengths headed south. Engines spaced out among them. All the CN engines and tankers are sparkling clean. Not when they come back north bound. Used to be Milwaukee RR also. They don't run as much as they did even 10 years ago. But, I do see most of the cars you show but with a lot of graffiti.
I have this tank car from years back that I never assembled. I have lost the instructions. Can anyone direct me to where I may find the instructions and also, what glue should I use?
It seems to me there might be some parts missing? Like the running boards between the two trucks? What's the manufacturer of the model? With that info you could go to hoseeker.net and click the "Literature" button on the left. There are assembly diagrams and exploded diagrams of a lot of locos and rolling stock. Find the name of the manufacturer and then the exact model (there might be one or more sub-categories to navigate - it's a huge site). Hope this helps.
That’s the MDC 50’ Frameless tank car which does not represent any known prototype tank car. Could go on HO Seeker and find the parts diagram to complete the car. Rick Jesionowski
Looking a little deeper: Here you'll find a photo of the finished car: http://www.spookshow.net/freight/athearn50tank.html It should at least help you a little (like the picture on the box of a jigsaw puzzle).
