OK, I guess I need to check in. I forgot I was already registered here from way back when. Getting old is tough when the old brain cells let you down.

    Yeah, Bob,

If you didn't bookmark the temp board, like me, you can't find it.

I just painted my living room. I am tired. The wife popped the question:

"When are you going to get started on that new layout?"

I said, " As soon as we can afford it".

She said, "Hmmmm, we will have to work on that".

There are only two people who know what the wrapped presents are under the tree with my name on them...the wife and GEEP 35 (Chuck from Feather River Trains)

I have 24 hours until our predetermined present opening time.

    Ah, the anticipation!!!!!!!

Hope ya get what you're looking for....one Christmas, the missus got me gift certificates good for the local hobby shop (she worked out a deal with the owner, who was an alright fellow). Needless to say, they got spent there.

Hope everyone gets what they want this year.

Every year it is the same "what do you want for Christmas" - the mind goes blank and I can't think of anything! (Until the day after Christmas) - too late!

    Hey everyone!

I know I've been kinda scarce lately, but I'm here refuging from the Atlas shutdown too!

I'm finally getting some work done on my layout! Man that code 55 stuff is tricky to work with after all the years I've been using code 80! Phew!

Alan, in my case the Plano train show is next month down the road (in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas), and the wife has given me the green light to go semi-nuts. That will be part 2 of my Christmas present this year. This saves the missus the confusion of what to get me, railroad-wise, for Christmas. This'll also give me the chance to eat lunch with fellow modelers & railfans at Love & War in Texas, a restaurant next to the KCS main line and across the street from my favorite radio station, KHYI-FM.

    Bob,
Mrs. HemiAdda2d and I are headed to the Denver GATS this Feb. and we both plan on having a ball. I guess it is kinda like your plan!

As for Plano, I'll be there too!

Well, all you guys here without a life can send messages on the Trainboard. For me, I am going to watch Gunsmoke! Maybe later, I will go over to Cosco to shop for some box wine. So there!
