You might be an N scaler if...

you treat the end of each month like it's Christmas Eve... waiting for the Microtrains announcement.

When your wife walks in the house with her best friend and finds you crawling around on the floor and the wife has to explain that hubby has been assembling microtrain couplers and that hubby always looses those little springs and is trying to find them and isnt really suffering from dimensia.( not that has ever happened at my house...you do believe that dont you?)

...when you agree to spend $400,000.00 to build a new 3,200 sq. ft. house with a 2,800 sq. ft. basement, spend an additional $5,400.00 for a flooring system so that there are only 6 walls in the whole basement, put two 150 amp power panels in " just-in-case" and realise that Bill Gates couldn't fill this up if he had Methuselah helping him with the construction, and settle (note I said SETTLE) for a 32' x 19' room and give the rest over to the wife and grand children.

    That's dedication.

My wife told me that if I am going to build this "train set", then I should take pictures and document it. That way, I'd have to geep working on it "until it is finished" and not loose interest.
    That'll work!!!
I guess I'll start a blog or maybe just start a thread when I get started. Gotta get some stud walls put up around the basement foundations first for all of the areas of the basement. Doing that today and tomorrow.

    didn't you mean "ex- girlfriend?"

You are in N if your bumper stickers read:

"70 is the new 50", and

    "N is the new HO"

You are in N if your secret pin numbers are 1160, for ease of remembering.

when you dread changing and/or assembly of couplers on your cars & locos even though you approach the task in full armor, optivisor, mag glass, assorted contraptions to trap flying coupler springs etc...
