Me, Wolfgang and others are in HO (and HOn3), if you need some help with anything, please post in the HO section, it's not that there are no HO modelers at TrainBoard, we may just need someone to kick it up a notch. Most of my activity is in the Fallen Flag area, I should focus more on posting in HO as Wolfgang does regularly. There are other boards that may be more active in HO, but none as good IMHO. As mentioned earlier, a lot of the information flowing here is not scale specific, so don't cheat yourself by only focusing on certain threads.

How true. There are several threads within some of the scale forums that are on things like painting or weathering and should really be in a more general modeling thread, such as the inspection pit. I undestand why someone might post to a scale specific forum with a question about installing a particular decoder designed for a specific N scale locomotive, for example, but there are lots of things that could and should be in the layout forum, or the Inspection Pit, or in the DCC forum.

There's lots of stuff going on here! I often hit the New Posts option when I come back to TrainBoard and then I can see all the posts that have come up since my last visit. That way I don't miss something that I might otherwise be interested in following just because it's in a forum I don't frequently visit.

I do appreciate this site, there's more info on HO than I could read in a year already - just more of an observation from someone that hasn't been around here much until recently. I know in the past, most everytime I Googled something about an HO related question, I invariably ended up here. Really glad to see all scales represented. I do have a Z-scale set bought in Germany many years ago - but it is relegated to being a Christmas layout. I love it but my poor eyes....:tb-frown:
