    The Other Turntable

I just bought a atlas turntable and powered it up with a mobile decoder I gave it an address of 22 and run it with my DT400r radio controller. I strapped a IN-4148 Switching Diode (Band facing the BLUE LEAD) across the head light leads with a 12v DPDT relay which turns off/on all the round house tracks. What's cool about this is you can set up the speed tables in the decoder to power up, over, and slow down and stop the table just where you want it. For me, forget about the indexing thing I think its starting to be a little (Old School) after running a real table a few times in Eugene OR, this is the real deal. If you want more Info on how to wire one (For any Commercial or home built) the information is in Model Railroad book called DCC Projects & Applications by Mike Polsgrove.
