Well I just won this on auction, a Kato 4-8-4! I hope it will fit on my turntable. Anyway, it's gonna look awfully good.
Okay, got back from the LHS with some unexpected shtuff. A TTrak module already built, my Unitrack and three cars from them. Then I had 4 more cars waiting in the mailbox...and last but not least some foamboard and lumber to finish the main part of the layout.
You bought some nice stuff, Deacon. I’ve read The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel but not The Case for Easter. I’ll have to look for it. Do you have a local T-Trak group?
I closed out March with several more Billboard advertising cars, 2 reefers (opposite ends of the era) and a tank car. Picked up Vol1 of David Myrick's Railroads of Arizona and a 1952 bound volume of Model Railroader. Its been fun looking at that up and coming scale, TT. And noting the dominance of O in the articles.
WOW, you got 3 super nice cars! The old Model Railroaders are interesting. They show how much the hobby has changed. I think you’ll be very happy with the Peco switches. I look forward to seeing your layout come to life.
Burlington Northern green drinking straws ! Cool Although the packaging states "Made in USA" twice, the brand name is "Stephanie Imports" ........... lets hope her family name is Imports.
]QUOTE="MK, post: 1295183, member: 3524"]You ok there Keith? Hope it's a minor thing.[/QUOTE] Not too bad. Still vented and unable to speak . Also still fighting an infection, lungs I think, gotta ask about that. Think that, because I get suctioned, when I request it. Or shortly after shift change. But, so far, I'm hanging in there!! Still have love and support from immediate family and friends who know of my situation. Can always use more. Hopefully it'll help more, even if it's a snails pace faster!! I thank those who have offered well wishes, prayers and more during this continuing ordeal!! Keith
Keith, here's praying that you will soon be well and out of the hospital and back at the layout Ralph
