That unit was on a CSX train and a little south of Birmingham they ran into a landslide. There was minimal damage to the unit at that time. When the heavy equipment came in to remove rock so they could move, they dislodged a large rock that came down on top of this units cab causing the damage. Luckily at the time the crew was not inside. It was towed to Boyles Yard for repair.
Speaking of wrecks... New England Southern's old Geep 39-2 hit hard packed ice and derailed and tipped over. The accident was blamed on snow mobiles. The unit has since been fixed up and sold. The New England Southern is now using a MP15 in the same UP like paint scheme.
