I was only seven years old then. I suppose the cops are there to protect my innocent mind and insure that I did not somehow sneak in.
Nahh... Hytec was getting a little rowdy and they were needed to cool him down before the girls would dump a bucket of ice water on him. The burlesque house fits right in to that neighborhood. Looks great! Montanan's loading dock scene looks like a real snapshot of a regular day at work. Nice! Good work all around.
Candy, if you advertise "Beautiful Girls" only for Matinees, I'm not sure I want to know what you have in store for the Nightly shows.... However, that's a lovely creation.
Having made significant progress on track work in the last 24 hours, The crossovers at the east end of Ravenswood is finally complete with another 25 feet of track placed beyond. Here is a view from Ravenswood looking east, I'm very pleased with how this is turning out already. This is going to look good with scenery and semaphore signals.
I want to add a lot more details and people. I also have a parking lot next to it. I removed signs from the back of the brick building so I can put up more Burlesque signs.
Just took the video tour and am truly amazed. How many decades have you been working on this? Please don't take this as a criticism, but the C&O engine really stood out and that is because the whole layout is so marvelous in tying together the locale and railroads involved. The inclusion of NP definitely made my day as I would have loved to create an NP based layout. I belonged to the NPRH for many years but have had to cut back on expenses in retirement. Thanks for the tour, I really enjoyed it.
Now that Photobucket is up again!!!!!! Got a couple of cars done this week! Here is an Intermountain 40' PS1 Boxcar Kit, I used the modernizing ladders and walkover platform as the Southern moderized the cars when they took over the Savannah and Atlanta Railroad then painted and lettered in a standard Southern style lettering of the early 70's. Proto 2000 PS 4427CF Covered Hopper Kit, substituted a Plano Roofwalk for the kit supplied plastic one. Drilled a lot of holes for the roofwalk supports to install the Plano Roofwalk. Painted with Foquil #20 Caboose Red and lettered with Oddballs decals. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Beautiful girls, nice building, nice selection of era appropriate cars. Looks like a great place to hang out. Too bad I was only 5 then.
