    Colonel:

Your pics gave me a flashback to railfanning the real Katy in & around Denison, TX and Parsons, KS. The "rode-hard-and-put-up-wet" weathering job on the green GP40s is dead-on!

    Great stuff guys.
All I have this week is a quick snapshot taken with a disposable camera. This started out as an N scale Bachmann Plasticsville "Georgia Mansion" that I added some stuff to the roof. This is a stand in for the Court House that will go on the Richmond NTRAK modules.

Too hot to model... So I railfanned a bit instead:

7 UP units get a dog freight moving out of Cheyenne:
    (only 4 were loading)

Light's all wrong, but here's a going-away shot, with the prime movers being notched up:

Lastly, prioroty stacks thunder out of town behind 4 new GEVOz:

Hogswarts Express returning to Sydney after taking over 1000 Harry Potter fans (almost all in costume) to 'Hogsmeade' (actually Moss Vale) to pick up their copies of the new book
    [IMG]

20 vintage carriages alltogether. That's too much for 3801 to pull up the grade to Moss Vale so a pair of '44 class' vintage diesels were doing helper service mid train. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of 3801 at work going up grade :-( but I do have some shots of the 44 class - need to put them on line later...

After the trip, a rather tired engineer and a rather tired Harry Potter

All of my photos from the day are on line here:

Not all train related, but I did get some great shots of the circus performers that were there - worth the visit :)

Too hot for me to do any work on the railroad, so I just had to sit around with a beer in my hand

Benny: Really nice bucket loader. I assume the white is strip styrene. Is the darker part plastic, too? Do you have a drawing or picture to follow? Also, what scale?

Again, nice job of scratchbuilding. [IMG]

All plastic, all Strip/scratck. Between David Langs Photos, and some other plans and pictures I have here, Its getting together.

A piece of advice ont he MDC plans: All you can use are the planes for maybe the bucket, the rest...well, its good for reference but nut much else!

    Marion Model 60 ;)
