Well, 3 comrades from Sherman Hill Model RR Club were there with me, carpooling. Once we hit Eaton, CO, and they stopped in front of A&W, the 'thundering herd' caught wind of the engine, and it was mayhem all the rest of the afternoon. Folks driving along US 85, one hand on the wheel, one hand on the video camera, pacing the engine, paying abolutely no attention to the road. We were the only chasers till about Ault, CO. There were a few, like Jim Erhenberger (sp?), and some others that caught it at Speer, but very few otherwise. It was quite refreshing! Another wasteland shot, somwhere in the middle of nowhere. In fact, I could have sworn we passed a sign that said 'Welcome to Nowhere', at about 75MPH....
