I'm really starting to think we could hit 100! Here's another hint for the folks that have sent me incorrect guesses by private message.
Let's see... my Kisatchie, Gulf & Northern interchanges with the railroads mentioned as hints. Could it be?! Hmm... who'd a thunk it...?
Well... here's my guess... St Louis Iron Mountain & Southern Though I don't think this railroad was 'officially' around in the 1950's... it was merged into the Missouri Pacific and later became part of the Union Pacific. It could have had some old box cars refurbished by MoPac and it may have run into the early 1950's.
Well seeing where the three railroads hinted At meet. It could be anyone! So many small railroads! So my last guess is the Chicago and Eastern Illinois. More than likely, I am incorrect. However it was fun trying to solve this riddle. And I learned that Minnesota, had more railroads than lakes, maybe.....
One person just guessed correctly by PM. We will give that member some recognition when we release the information - which will now be very soon!
I like multiple numbers too Randy. That's why I like the MT runner packs and other manufacturers like Intermountain, Wheels of Time, Bluford Shops, Atlas, Athearn, etc., that release multiple road numbers of a car. I hope we can do this someday. I also would like to do two/three/four packs of fallen flags at some point. We just need people to be willing to buy them. Charlie
97/300 I wouldn't have believed it! Actually, I would have but it's amazing to see! We are a go on this project for sure.
