Thanks Colonel. I knew I had more signal shots. This is Manitou, NY. on Metro North's Hudson Line. Nov. 30, 1992. These signals are history. All lineside signals have been replaced with whatever they call that code that is sent through the rail. These approach lit signals were always handy in giving you a warning of approaching trains. They gave you time to set up. Southbound signals. Lights in distance are the Bear Mountain Bridge. Northbound signals. Manitou road crossing.
Hemi thanks for this thread, I love it. I have more but I think I'll cool it. Do they still make Kodachrome 64? I've got the urge to dust off the camera and go out at night again, I don't know what digital can do at night. Back at Poughkeepsie, NY. Conrail local power. August 15, 1992.
No Mike, you da man! BNSF Christmas train paused just east of Perry, OK. Avard sub. November 29, 1996. [ March 23, 2006, 02:06 AM: Message edited by: Don Rickle ]
Beautiful!!!!! What's the chances 9595 and 9696 would be MU'd together, CLEAN? Stratospheric odds, I'm guessing... What is this?? How did you do this shot??
New Year's Eve 2006 I was down in Lo Do (Lower Downtown) New Year's Eve and got this shot. Denver Union Station with the Ski Train.
Excellent shot!!!!! That skyline may change in the next few years, if some new builings go in around DUT. Shoot these shots while you can!
