Thanks for the explanation! I have been impressed with the amount of M.O.W. activity over the last few months. I really want to catch some more of it with my camera when time permits. Ben
Well there is a lot of activity today out there and if interested there is huge MOW train at Thompson Springs waiting to be moved to the canyon an unloaded.
Well I headed out to Ogden, UT to catch UP 844 on display yesterday. I have a lot of images and it is going to take a while to get them all posted here. Driving west on I-70 we saw a UP train sitting at the mill tailings disposal site north of Crescent Junction, UT. We didn't see a lot of rail activity between GJT and SLC but we did pass this MOW equipment parked on a siding on the western slope of Soldiers Summit. Upon arriving in Ogden we find a water tower marking the entrance to the Union Station. Ben
I have a few spare minutes here so I figured I would at least post the station pictures. Heading inside through the northern east facing door. Ben
Keep'em Coming!!!!!!! The last time I was at that museum was in June 1998. We didn't get a chance to stay long so it's great to see all your photos bring back some great memories again!!!
