Yeah I call it a flying E. My last name is Eastman and that E keeps showing up all over the place. Even have a ring of them tattooed around my left arm... Either dedication to my road or plain nuts. haven't figured that out yet. Yup the first 70mac has flares on it. Still need to fabricate the bulge under the inertial filter on the engineers side. This one is the experiment and so far it's working out. grant
Makes good sense. Maybe you should ask the missus for a digicam for Christmas, birthday, etc. We want more pics! Sherman Hill Model RR Club's N layout is small, 4x8' but my coalie put on a nice show at 15MPH. Here's a few random flash shots that turned out wierd, but cool: Now, this is what I call speed lettering!
Gonna get a digi-cam for the MTN bike season. Something cheap and small that I wont be afraid to destroy if and when I land on it!! grant
(part 1 of 3 )While the hoppers (above post) await the paint & decal crew, a special delivery peeks thru the Shannandoah valley ravines... fresh from Wyoming... could it be another unit train??? looks like BN 9213 is at the helm.... awwwww yaaahhhh.... another BN unit train snakes thru the congestion... looks like the crew wants to do a "victory lap" so around they go... (part 2 of 3) so they take the outer ravine enroute to the "big bridge" but first they get a good view from below... passing the stangnet consists... starting up the grade...
(part 3 of 3) and finally the view from the top... continuing... then back down again Gentlemen... it's Miller Time!
Mike, love it. I have enjoyed watching your progress. The best shot is crossing the bridge. Then again, as i scrolled through the pics i knew it would be and could not wait for it. Nice, very nice.

C'mon guys, lets all step up and help the Colonel just say NO to yellow! A strong support group is what he needs right now untill he's back on the wagon.
