Looks like the bridge washed out! (Edit - actually it hasn't, the culvert is still there, the embankment next to it has washed out!!! ) What's maybe more impressive, has the train already crossed that gap before coming to a stop? Result of 4 run-away locomotives many years ago. Rolled downhill for 27 MILES, reaching speeds of up to 75 MPH, before impact. Local crew alerted just moments before impact.

GRR derailment that happen in East Texas on the SP around 1993. The train hit a highway sign that had gotten blown up on to the tracks by a storm. Both crew men were able to walk away with minor injuries after being tossed around in the locomotive as rolled upside down into a ditch!
