N-Trak news letter about two years back had a nice artical on multi-section large rdius corners with the radii going from 4' up to 10', the six foot one broke-down into two sections just under 4' each.
now to go into my library pile and dig it up.

You got it 2slim! The "Key Stone" can always be made larger as needed. All the modules would connect in various ways, so they could have variety. I thought it was a good idea, depending upon who showed up.

Below are some other module shapes you may not have, that I have seen either in clubs, or at shows.

One show in particular, wanted to arrange something different, so the trains would change from time to time to maintain the public's interest.

What they did was to take turns having a couple of guys run whole trains on the outside tracks for a few rounds, then switch into the yards, where they dropped that train and picked up another train that was ready to go. Another member took that train out.

It gave each member a chance to run, while the others rested, ate, or whatever.

They also took turns breaking up and making up trains in the yards, which gave other members a chance to do that.

It was a very buisy display, and they had probably 65% of the crowd watching and asking questions of other members who were not running trains that walked around the outside of the setup.

It was very well done and had lots more interest than just seeing a couple of trains going around and around. I watched a couple of hours, and that was where I saw the first BigBoy in N scale, that was a TREAT!

(These were drawn to mm scale they gave me)
