Looking good. What run of Con Cor Hudson is under the shell? The old Kato built ones are getting hard to find.
I spent the weekend converting, detailing, and then painting an SD70ACe to an SD70M-2 with the Trainworx kit. The gent I did this one for picked the road number, that's why it's in a different series of numbers. The headlight is still in the wrong place because I didn't want to fiddle around with moving them to the nose. Brian
Here is my first attempt building the CV truss bridge. I will build another for the other track. I am looking for pics showing how to implement bridge abutments for skewed parallel bridges. Pointers appreciated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
It's been a while since I've posted here (or done much modeling for that matter). This is going to be Milwaukee Erie built 8a. I'm finally happy with the classification light "cheeks" after three tries. I also body mounted the Z scale coupler and modified the number boards today. Jim
I have finished my earlier 2000s Heartland Flier project. It consists of kitbashed F40's (one is a heavily kitbashed NPCU), two El Capitain cars and a Superliner Snack Coach:
I started work on NS 1074, the DLW heritage unit. It's all painted and clear coated, just waiting on my decals to arrive. View attachment 50542
Still at the vessels for the harbor. This time two coastal/shallow water patrol boats. Vessels are built on two 87 foot resin waterline hulls that my Wife got me for Christmas. The superstructure is all styrene and so far only the guns are cast resin along with the liferafts and the small boats and the large guns are from a commercial part. Everything else including the ventilator funnels is styrene as is the gun directors. Main armament is a single 3" 50 and secondary is either a single barrel or twin barrel 40mm. Tub guns are 20mm. Both vessels sport one single depth charge rack at the stern. Vessels are not based on any prototype except maybe a small minesweeper or early type patrol craft. When I finish these up it will be time to lay the vessels aside and go back to building railcars

I've been working on a 110' gunboat on and off for a long time. It sports a 3-inch gun up front, a single 40mm gun on the aft bandstand, and two 20 mm guns on the platform aft of the cabin.
