    Hemi,

I just recieved notice from Webshots that we can no longer link webshots photos outside of the webshots software :(

The latest pictures I posted were from my Yahoo account. I imagine that in the future, what happened with webshots will also happen at Yahoo. I am not going to post a lot of pictures on the Trainboard forum anymore, unless it is something really good.

You can post links to a webshots album here, but that is about it. Every time I upload pictures to my Webshots account, I will make a new album and post the link here for people to view. I don't think a lot of people will follow a link, but that is the best I can do for free.

When my layout is further along and I can justify the money, maybe I will pursue a website, but until then, I will make do with webshots and posting links to albums.

The site that I used to post photos of my layout (DotPhoto.com) doesn't allow linking to third-party sites except to e-Bay. They deleted my photos. Sorry ... :(

I'll just have to wait for Charlie, et al to finish testing of our TB image posting package before I post photos. [IMG]

Paul-Admin and others, there are some great looking layouts on the board, I just love looking at photo's of N-scale layouts, takes me back to when I was modelling in N-scale. I couldn't do it now as I need glasses even to see my H0 people that need painting.
    Keep up the great work.

    Hemi,

I am not sure how I did it so it worked, so I will try it here.

Ok, I see a picture when I view this thread. The only thing I can tell
you is that I use Internet Explorer. When I view the picture the size
I want to display it on the forum, I right click on it. A pop-up menu
comes up and I select "properties".

It display a address (url) for the picture. Highlight the address by
placing your cursor at the beginning (before http) and left clickwhile
dragging down and to the right. This should select the complete url.
While highlighted, right click and copy the address. Then paste it in
    your message as an image.

Enjoyed seeing the pictures greatly.I'm wondering though is it in N scale because if it is I'd love to know where you got the plate girder bridge and supports shown in the last pictures. I have a scene that I need to build over my river that would fit this style perfectly. Hope to here from you soon Thank you.

    Hemi,

The first photo came through, but I don't see the second one. To take a phrase from the "
    Waterboy", "You can do it".

    Gary,

We all started the same way all you need to do is "Have a go" I have learnt so much by building my layout and know next time it will be different.

There are so many techniques and the more you try the better results. Don't be disheartened it is all worthwhile :D

Ok here are a couple more shots of my layout

Here is a picture of the unscenic extension to the layout i hope to have all this area scenicked in the next few months :D

I'm so excited!!!! I finished the last module framework tonite, added legs to most of them,a nd connected a few up. I found that since I didn't do my homework very well from planning the trackplan, the layout no longer will be walk-around, it is now an inside-operation deal. I modified the benchwork plan a bit, too, so the rough layout size is now 17'6" x 9'6". Still sizable, I can run nice long trains. The foam is int he garage, awaiting a day warm enough to go outside to cut it. I'm a wuss... I don't like the cold, and look where I live!!! I'm SO ready for spring. I'll post pics someday very soon to Webshots or Yahoo. I looked over the rough layout, and it's huge! At least compared to my basement.. The basic L trackplan is still the one of choice, slightly modified to fit the modified benchwork. [IMG] :D [IMG] ;)

    Hemi,
It looks like you ran the wheels plum offen' thet thar Big Mac! Must be that huge layout, miles and miles! Nice looking job. Excellent detailing you are accomplishing there!

I notice your winding curves are VERY smooth and gentle. I doubt if you have any problems with derailments, that is fine looking track!

I would tip my hat to you, (but what hair I have left would fall out and I couldn't see!) :D
