Ok it's been a little quiet lately so I thought I'd start this topic up. It's always great top see modellers achievements. Here are my 4 favorites of my layout. Lets see how many layouts we can get posted on here, what about it fellows?
Looks good Paul ! What is the big industry in the middle of your town? Does it get a lot of rail traffic? Gary
I will try to post a couple of my old layout and new layout. Hint: the new layout does not have any scenery yet, please be kind.
I would love to post some photos of my meager accomplishments ... as soon as our Software Guru Brothers complete their evaluation of the proposed photo posting software. I'm joking Guys , my hat's off to you for taking the effort to test and perfect it before you put it into production. P.S. I'm just too cheap to pay a third party website to post my photos, when I can "invest" the same coins into a Bowser N-5 Caboose lettered in the (pre-McGinnis ) B&M Minute Man theme [ 03 March 2002, 02:50: Message edited by: Hank Coolidge ]
The industry which has it's rail siding is a limestone plant that provide limestone for my newly installed cement plant. Once fully operational it will provide 20 car loads a day of limestone for the cement plant which is situated on my new layout extension. I hope to post pics of this once i have scenic it
Icould host them for you if you want. just emal them to me and I will get them up Wish I had a layout. And here I am sitting about 3-4 miles fron the tuscon up yard.
A few pics from my railroad. Firtly, a double stack train cautiously decends the three percent grade A view under the bridge over Andersley yard towards the locomotive facility A busy scene at the intermodal yard View over the lumber mill (still awaiting stacks of lumber!)
Robert, your photos are great, although I am a "modern-era" modeller, I still have a soft spot for steam Garth, your pics are now there, and lookin' good
Please be kind? I am jealous! Wish that I had as big a layout as you guys here. Looks like UP is strongly represented. Good work all! <img src=http://www.trainboard.com/sigbreak.gif> Russ
Don't sell yourslef short. The old layout looks good and the new layout looks like it has great potential. Starting new layouts are a great way to try new techniques! Keep us posted as things progress.
Ok guys,I ordered a new Sony Mavica digital camera this morning so I can bore you with pix of my under construction layout.
The pics all look great. I noticed that one layout has a three percent grade, how have you found it. I am about to install my backdrop, then will be starting on track work for our - Dane and I - layout. These types of photos are motivational for me, and give me ideas on how to deal with a problem I am trying to solve. Thanks all.
Nice pic's (and beautiful work) all! I'm trying not to drool on the keyboard. I'm geating ready to start my benchwork and you have all supplied me with some much needed inspiration.
