You didn't mention Life Like...the new stuff...how'd they do?

You could compare it to the MS vs. Apple debate. Apple (Kato) concintrated on a qulity product with a modicum of production while MS (Atlas) concintrated on production almost to the detroment of product quality.
When you have to make repairs on a product before you can put it into use shows a definite lack of care for ones customers. This is from personal experince with my now 'last' perchases of Atlas products.
I'm tired of the let-down that i've seen in other model-rails at my club and else where when that new Atlas doesn't live-up to basic expectations (the B23's are a case in point).
So I guess what I'm trying to say here is they'll never catch-up to Kato They don't care because their customers will buy their product no mater what because they are the only ones with that particular model right 'now!' and that is what a lot of this is about!
As I grogelly stumble off my soapbox

Ok. I'll be honest. I'm getting sick of all this Atlas/Kato stuff.

Here's what I think WHO CARES.

They don't even model the same engines.

Get over it already. Buy what YOU want to buy and don't critize others if they don't agree.

We should focus on things we can improve - like how to model (enter subject here)better.

Getting sick of all the bickering

    Scot
