There must be a little gremlin village somewhere built entirely of Bachmann GPWhatever cab roofs. I don't think I've ever seen one ever anywhere that still had it's roof.
When I saw that model I thought it looked about right too. MILW ran their stuff hard in the last years and put it away wet, if it got put away at all. Add to that, there's quite a bit of old MILW stuff still around pretty much untouched other than a patch out and required maintenance. I'd say the weathering is pretty decent considering what it is.
Got bored and emailed the guy, here's his reply, Dear i*****, Sorry, i think i'll cancel it. Once again i'm ill prepared. Undecided what i want to sell. Looking for something in particular? - Ricardo - piscesrnh Ummm, so I'm supposed to bid, and hope its what I want? So if I want 10 undec SD40-2s, you'll deliver?
Here's another seller who doesn't know what he has. He claims these new and never out of the box. But upon close inspection and an email to confirm this, they have Metal wheels. Funny, these came from the factory with plastic wheels, McHenry's if I'm correct. Or did they re-run them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261228448383?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
But, but, but - they have crip paint "Coalporters which are usally found in Oklahoma they have crip black pain"
Seems like a good price... untill you look at the shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intermounta...=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4ac5b22631 And don't forget there will be an additional charge for the currency exchange to boot!
If you read down further.... "Please IGNORE the International Shipping Calculator as this item can be shipped for £ 5.00 Worldwide to include the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe." -Mark
I thought the box and tray looked kind of funny, not like the ones that I picked up a few years ago. I seen they are now listed under HO as well. Thanks
What is it? It's not that expensive and the description is actually very good (Vintage junk, runs but not that great, note details and skill quality, no sniveling), but what is it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-truck-tan...668062?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3382e96d5e
Nn3 mine car for $30 ($40 with Buy It Now) and $8 shipping yet it's smaller than a penny (see photo). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nn3-CUSTOM-...752733?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item1e7c057a9d
Old Rivarossi 0-8-0. No tender and it doesn't run ('dose not run' according to the description), for parts or repair...$30 http://www.ebay.com/itm/AT-SF-steam...561238?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2ec8468856
Here's one that has me scratching my head... I placed a bid on this brass loco last week - http://www.ebay.com/itm/221239823880?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649 I just got outbid, and when I went to up my bid it said that the seller had blocked me from making any further bids. And when I tried to send them an email asking why, it said that I was blocked from doing that too. I have 100% positive feedback (in the thousands) and have never purchased anything from this guy in the past. So, what the what?? -Mark
HER Maybe you called HER a douchebag on an n scale forum? Or threatened to come over to HER house and punch her in the nose? or .... ???
Could be. I've certainly run into more than my fair share of dooshbags on these h'yar N scale forums over the years. But whatever, no sleep lost here. Just trying to buy a model in order to review it as a public service. Anybody who wants to interfere with that probably is a dooshbag. -Mark
