Well, I'll be darned. That is indeed a stray headlight part. From what I'm not sure. Here's a proper 102 from Kato's website.
I bought this listing on Feb 26: Previous Auction by NorsemanJack posted May 31, 2024 at 6:10 PM Although advertised as "new," it showed up looking like this: IMG_1151 by NorsemanJack posted May 31, 2024 at 6:12 PM I reported it as missing a part and returned it prepaid for a prompt refund.
This was my first locomotive back in the 70s. Should have taken better care of it I guess. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2048226897...GU4AQNIRpm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Hmmmm. I just got this from eBay, not sure what to think about the second one? Sounds like another loophold for shady buyers... We’ve made a few updates to our User Agreement, effective July 26, 2024, to clarify, simplify, and streamline your eBay experience. Here’s what’s new: We’ve provided details on how we use artificial intelligence (AI) on eBay to provide and improve the Services we offer you, including, when available, customized and personalized experiences. We’ve updated our purchase conditions to clarify that in some clearly identified transactions, a legally binding contract only occurs when the buyer pays for the item. We describe additional types of conduct and content that are prohibited when using eBay Services. So I guess a buyer can now bid on something and then back out..... unless he pays for the item?
So if I read this right, I can bid and the not pay and there is nothing that can happen as there was no contract. Sounds like there will be a ton of people using this loophole to up the bids (like what happens many times in auctions) and then if they do accidentally win, they dont have to do anything. Sellers lose out again.
Seriously $!8.99?! Minitrix Penn Central #576 U30C Diesel Engine 51 2007 00 (T) *READ* | eBay < Looking at the photos, I say its worth roughly $0.50 to $2.00 ! one has to actually Seek for the correct link here to actually see the Details . Tom
It turns eBay Sellers into Walmarts, where they must accept returns from most everyone for any reason. When I sold on eBay, I always checked the [No Returns] checkbox to eliminate this foolishness. I wonder if that checkbox is still there? eBay's guidance on returns is that allowing returns helps a Seller build business. I'm not looking to build business. I just wanted to get rid of stuff.
Here're three cars with Rapido couplers with a $60 (plus shipping) price that would be $10 total at a train show.
