I noticed after the shock of the price it was also Best Offer, so I send him a offer of $2.55. Maybe I should have made it $10.00, but I was in shock mode and was not thinking very well.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-HO-...=120930002747&ps=63&clkid=9183092030040505302 So I know this is HO - but CHECK the Shipping Cost($36.45) - Say What? Besides the stuff looks like it went through a tornado
Generally speaking, the more exclamation points a listing has, the less interested I am. Also, the more fonts, colors, and fine print. ALISTINGINALLCAPSWITHNOSPACESBETWEENWORDS doesn't instill my confidence in the seller either.
I don't know what to say, but a lot of work with into this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-E..._Vehicles_Everything_Else&hash=item4166c584f5
This may not be humor but someone wanted these Penn. RR steamers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=280897002171&nma=true&rt=nc&si=5P6ICqrlCxsOVa81piBY61b05iw%253D&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc The seller had other N scale brass and made over $10,000 with just 3 Penn. T-1. Holly molly wish I was the seller.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this item yet or not: [h=1]SANTA FE RAILWAY SUPER CHIEF WALL HANGING PLAQUE $79,999.95[/h] http://www.ebay.com/itm/SANTA-FE-RAILWAY-SUPER-CHIEF-WALL-HANGING-PLAQUE-TRAINS-RAILROAD-RAILROADIANA?item=370624306588&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D32341020680159833#ht_1528wt_1049 Seller goes on about how he saw this hanging inside the train when he was a kid and that his father was a conductor and rubbed elbows with all of the star on the Super Chief. Through "special railroad connections" he obtained it. Then, after all that, he backtracks and says he can't be sure whether it is unique at all or even if it came from the Super Chief in the first place. But he still wants $80,000 for it!
Here's yet another great deal!! ...A steal at half the price http://tiny.cc/pxo6fw I don't know if I would trust his name or not? I'm really hoping that this is a typo...:uhoh:
Is that Hong Kong dollars or US dollars? At that price I can have a lash-up of at least three units new in box, with factory air, never run, and strip the old one down to a dummy unit and have four in the lash-up. Why would anybody pay more for a replacement motor, even with the Atlas spare parts price increase, when you can buy the entire loco for much cheaper.
I looked at the other listings and the $399.99 motor pair is a typo. He has a couple more listed at 39.99 a pair.
For a "miser" US $8.27 ..... two scale in one model: http://tinyurl.com/d7uorts need some "Brass" spare parts? Enjoy
Need some tank cars? Here are some pricey cars. I think the seller must not have gotten the message that MicroTrains are not as valuable as they used to be. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...l_RR_Trains&hash=item5d33cf1cae#ht_3921wt_922 Terry
I find it insulting that after spending $1800.00 for tank cars you still gotta add 20 bucks shipping ??
And here is his other set http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...l_RR_Trains&hash=item231eb6f41e#ht_3405wt_952
WOW! I ran one of these F7a shells [another road name though] up to 21.00 and I thought it was kinda high, These C&O's must be hard to find, or someone has a bigger wallet! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intermounta...684237?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item519fffaccd
