Alright...I'll go check my NAV...... You mean companies would want to get all the cash they could out of the entity, defer maintenance/improvements and use economic problems to shaft the whole lot of workers? Really? Shocking......I watched it happen to Flint in the 80's and am watching it in southern Michigan as I type.
It's the modern business model, as taught by our (disgraceful) institutes of alleged higher learning. Grab a buck as fast as you can, and run. Short term. Short term. Short term. We could alter the famous "Remember the Rock," by appending "As Yet Another Victim." Look at what recently happened with Watco, and their A&O operation. They're a bunch of quick buck artists. Milk it for all they can, if any way possible invest nothing, threaten abandonment/beg for gift $$$, cut and run. With the A&O, they quickly found it would be a long term project. Which is not part of their business philosophy. Cut and ran... mg: Boxcab E50
Finally checked it Luke Chapter 23-Verse 34 (KJV) "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."
