DRGW caboose, used as museum. Winter Park Ski resort. Not sure if still there. Left side of DRGW 01416 at Sedalia, Co. Headed back to home shops for repair. Same caboose, from the right side.
Yes, I have!! Had been completely gutted. As I recall, an information desk and various photos on the walls. Don't have pics of interior either. Gives me something to look foward to though, going back to WP and seeing if caboose is still there and getting more detailed pics!
And I finally found it!! The end of DRGW caboose 01416!! I kid you not, that thing was LEANING that bad!!!
And it was to be picked up and delivered back to home shops - Burnham - for repair. It was sitting on a siding in Sedalia. Not too far out of Denver. Definately a slow order in place during this move!! Would have been an interesting day, watching that caboose being moved from were it sat, back to Burnham.
